Blah, blah, blah…

blahblahblah

I’m feeling particularly uninspired lately but also feel like I’ve really been neglecting this blog in frequency and substance, so I’ve got to post something right? Well then here are a few little tidbits that have been flying about in my head lately:

  • Is it bad that I think it’s OK for my daughter to still be in PJs and uncombed because she’s watching Disney classics like Pinocchio or Bambi?

  • I cut the tip off of my left ring finger last night, slicing onions (and fingertips apparently). I don’t know how I’m going to wash my hair with just one hand and a wound that water stings like someone’s rubbed salt on it.

  • Lately it feels like nothing is easy – except weight gain.

  • Can you believe that we’re already just a month away from September? How is it that winter seems to last an eternity and summer passes in the blink of an eye?

  • I’m reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and positively loving it! I hear that the movie wasn’t great though – are the movies ever better than the book?

  • What’s your favorite animal? I think mine’s an elephant.

  • Retirement is certainly agreeing with my father. He’s in the best physical shape he’s been in 15 years or so. There are many men my age who don’t look as good as he does now. I sure hope he passed some of those genes on to me…

Hmmmm, still feeling uninsprired…let me know if there’s something you’d like to hear about. And if you see my creativity lying around someplace, please shoo it back on home.
