Nobody hates pizza. If you do, there’s something wrong with you. Get that checked out…now. You may not be human.
My local everyday grocery is Safeway and they’ve got a terrific Friday special: $5 large pizzas from their Signature Cafe line. You can get two for less than you can get one (don’t forget to add tip) from your local wallet sucker take out chain.
Fresh (not frozen), yummy, respectibly sized – not like those dinky freezer aisle rip offs. On the table in 20 minutes – faster than take out! And in many cases, yummier. They’ve got meat lovers, veggie, 5 cheese, pepperoni, supreme, hawaiian, and possibly more… I always dust mine with a little parmesan before plopping it in the oven. And if you cook it directly on the oven racks (put a square of foil on the rack below it to catch any drips) it’ll come out with a nice crispy crust on the bottom.
Just because you’re on a budget never means your food should be crappier.

Oh how I wish I had an oven… I’ve been craving pizza lately. (we have it here, just haven’t bought one in awhile.)

How many free pizzas did Safeway give you? Corporate shill, I tell you. :p (Actually, I just feel stupid that I paid $17 for two 9″ take outs yesterday.)
